Meghan Moore

Meghan Curry Moore, 47, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away at home on Friday, August 12th, 2022.  Meghan was born on April 25, 1975, in Baltimore, Maryland. Loving daughter of James and Mary Moore, sister of Beth and brother in law Tim, sister Lauren and brother in law Joe, and sister Caitlin and fiancé Eric, and beloved wife of husband Chuck Murphy (and was truly beloved by the entire Murphy family). Aunt to Matthew, Cecilia, Andrew, Maeve, Finn, Josh, and Leah.  Dog and Cat mom to Boomer, Socks, Kitty, Hazel, and Cash.  She cherished her many friendships, especially Mike Rizzo and his family. Meghan was a brand strategist who worked in marketing in the dental, pharmaceutical, technology, and finance sectors across a career that took her from Baltimore to California to Philadelphia, where she settled in 2011.  She was relentlessly curious, always opinionated, and usually correct.  She read voraciously, loved to swim, run, practice yoga, and ride the Peloton.  She traveled with a passion and loved to see the world and loved drink wine and enjoyed a good meal. Meghan was a fighter, always up for the good fights and the bad ones.  She was passionate and wanted excellence in all things.  She loved the city of Philadelphia even with all of its problems. She recently wrote, “May we all be so lucky to know love like this in our lives, and to forever appreciate the time we have with each other.”  She would want you all to know that she loved you immensely. A memorial will be held at the Baldi Funeral home at 1331 S Broad Street in Philadelphia on Saturday, August 20th from 10 AM until 2PM.  A mass and memorial will be held on a later date in Westminster, Maryland.  Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Meghan and her life.Flowers may be sent to the Baldi Funeral home.  If you would like to make a donation in Meghan’s name in lieu of flowers, the family suggest a donation to https://www.helpwomen.org/ or to the charity of your choice.
