Michael D’Emilio, age 69, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, with his devoted siblings by his bedside. He was the beloved son of the late Vito and Lucy (née Casciato) D’Emilio. Michael was the loving brother of Lucille D’Emilio-Wilkinson and her husband Bill, who was considered a brother to Michael, as well as Stephen (Rose) and Robert. He was a proud uncle to Marissa, Stephen Jr., Jennifer, Kristin, Robert Jr., and Joseph, and a cherished great-uncle to six. He was also deeply loved by his aunt, many cousins, close friends, and neighbors.
Michael was a graduate of Saint John Neumann High School and Drexel University, where he studied architecture and worked as a skilled draftsman. A lifelong resident of South Philadelphia, michael had a deep passion for western films and a strong appreciation for the era of the 1940s, particularly World War II documentaries. He selflessly dedicated part of his life to caring for his parents in their later years, a true testament to his loyal and kindhearted nature.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Baldi Funeral Home, 1331 South Broad Street, Philadelphia (ample off-street parking available). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 AM at Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 10th and Dickinson Streets, the same church where he was baptized. Interment will be private.

Michael will be remembered for his quiet strength, warm heart, and unwavering love for his family and community.
