Michael Gesualdo

It is with great sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our father Michael Angelo Gesualdo which occurred on Saturday August 31, 2024.

Michael, was a character in every sense of the word.  He didn’t have a mean bone in his body, never had a negative word for anyone, and his generosity was to a fault.  There was a magic about Michael that couldn’t be described, one had to experience his friendship to understand.  He seemingly knew everyone, and they knew him too.

He had many careers in his life, a business man, social club owner, restaurant manager, professional photographer, etc.  His most recent after working for others which gave him great happiness, was “Flea Market Vendor”.  There he loved interacting with all kinds of people, buyers and vendors.  He would say if asked that he was an art and antique connoisseur, rather than flea market expert, but as some would say why ruin a good story, and he had many.

Michael Angelo Gesualdo, is survived by his three children, Angela Gesualdo-Morris, Stephen, Cappuccio and Gina Capaldo, one sister Eleanor Langello, one brother Christopher Gesualdo, life partner Michele Birtch, one grandchild, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews and a host of friends that stretch from New-York to Atlantic City….

Services for our father Michael Angelo Gesualdo will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 @ St. Monica Roman Catholic Church, 2422 S. 17th St. Philadelphia, PA.  Viewing from 10:00am-11:00am, with Mass starting @11:00. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
