Michael Joseph Salladino was born January 4, 1960 to Frank and Florence Salladino in Philadelphia, PA. Mike grew up on the streets of Philly with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales. Michael’s talent was ever apparent, taking off from his first job selling vinyl records. Michael would later get into the timeshare business and was consistently the top salesman when he was there.
Mike had a passion for music, and loved the era of MoTown. He was also an avid sports fan who loved the 76ers and the Eagles. He was well known and loved by all of his friends from 49th street and would often talk of his many memories he had.
Michael fathered two children, Donna and Chris, who he loved dearly and was a beloved father-in-law to Chris’ wife, Fatima. He was known as ‘Grandpop’ to his two granddaughters Marley and Mia who he loved to spoil rotten.
He will be honored in memory by his surviving sister Carol, brother Frank, son Chris, daughter Donna, daughter-in-law Fatima, granddaughters Marley & Mia, nephews: Richie and Brian and nieces: Tina, Delia, Michelle and Jackie.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Florence Salladino, brother Anthony Salladino and sister Donna Love Salladino.
Family and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Baldi Funeral Home, 1331 S Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. Services for Michael will start at 10am and last until 12pm on Saturday, March 13th, 2021. Following the service there will be a private burial to be attended by family members only.
