Nicholas Sacerdote Profile Photo

Nicholas Sacerdote Jr. passed suddenly May 21, 2024, at the age of 53. Devoted husband of Sarah. Loving father of Rachel and Nicki. Beloved son of Nicholas and Rosenia (Nee Ferriolo). Loving brother of Anita (P.J.) Ligambi and Joseph (Korinne) Sacerdote. Brother-in-law of Lisa (Domenick) Ferriolo. Uncle of Domenick III, Grace, Michael, Olivia, Blaise, and Joey. Also survived by loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.

Nicky was a devoted family man and a good friend to everyone that knew him. He was a loving and devout father, son, brother, cousin, and a dear friend. His smile lit up the room and his ability to make people laugh came second nature. He was truly a happy go lucky guy, the voice of reason within the family, and showed up for everyone.

Nicky grew up in Philadelphia with his two siblings, Anita (who he affectionately called “Peen”) and Joseph. He attended Saint Monica's where he met some of his best friends and made an everlasting impact on South Philadelphia.

He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Nicky would do anything to keep his daughters and Sarah safe. He lived for the days with his family, including fond memories at the Ocean City Boardwalk, Six Flags, the Bowling Alley, and many vacations to Florida. He was a teacher of karate, mentor to others, and inspiration to his daughters. Even after multiple open-heart surgeries he still loved weightlifting, karate, and throwing knives. Nicky is someone who lived for his children and would do anything for them. He always had a smile on his face whether it was going to Pic-a-lilli Inn to get wings, playing board games when they were sick, or just Sunday dinner. We love and miss you Nicky and cherish every moment we spent with you.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects to the family between the hours of 9 and 11AM Tuesday St. Monica Church 17th and Ritner St. Mass will begin at 11AM. Interment will be private.
