Nilda Chevere

Nilda Chevere (nee Garcia) passed December 7, 2021 at the age of 81. Devoted wife of 63 years to Gervacio. Beloved mother of Gervacio Jr. (Donna), Luis, Edwin (Noemi), Annette Chevere and William Chevere. Also survived by loving brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Nilda worked for many years for the Philadelphia School District (Bok High School), she had a passion for cooking (especially her family) and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed her trips to the casino. Nilda immigrated from Jayuya, Puerto Rico in 1962 to Philadelphia and raised a beautiful family, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing MONDAY 9 – 11AM BALDI FUNERAL HOME 1331 S. Broad St. (Ample Parking on Premises). Prayer Service will begin at 11AM. Interment Fernwood Cemetery.
