Paul David Oliver

Paul Oliver passed away unexpectedly in Philadelphia, PA on October 6th, 2025. Devoted father of Devon and Simone Oliver of Pittsburgh, PA and loving brother of Sue, Lisa, and Chris originally of New Zealand. Paul grew-up in Zealand where he studied engineering before moving to the United States in late 1980's to chase his entrepreneurial dreams. He started and ran construction-related businesses in Northern Virginia and Pennsylvania. He raised his children in Pittsburgh and he lived in Philadelphia most recently.Paul had an infectious sense of humor and he embraced always living in the moment. He was well read, a gifted story-teller, and he had an uncanny ability to befriend everyone he met regardless of the circumstances. He was also extremely generous to his family and friends. He never missed an opportunity to lend his extraordinary construction skills to those who needed them. He built a house, from the ground up, with his bare hands. Although he was always up for a good time, Paul adored his children above all else.
