Peter Maggio

PETER V, of Rosemont, PA, died peacefully Sunday, April 28, 2024, surrounded by his family and close friends. He is survived by his son, Peter J Maggio (Jennifer) and daughter Fallon Maggio; grandchildren Jake, Charlotte and Dylan Maggio, several godchildren and many cousins.

Peter was raised with his older brother Michael in the East Falls section of Philadelphia by his loving parents Lena and Peter Maggio. Together they traveled the world and had a home always filled with family and love.

He fondly remembered his years attending The Hun School of Princeton with his older brother Michael and was a graduate of Lower Merion High.

For many years he proudly worked alongside his father, uncles and cousins at the M. Maggio Company and Milk Maid Dairy Products in south Philadelphia. He was passionate about cooking incredible food, racing motorcycles and driving fast cars on the PCH, surfing, being down the shore, storytelling and being an amazing Pappy to his grandchildren.

Peter was a warrior with an incredibly positive attitude who loved life and created powerful friendships with so many. He will be deeply missed by all of his wonderful friends and devoted family across the country and in Sicily.

A memorial service will be held at later date. Entombment private. In lieu of flowers, please share a good dish of pasta with someone you love.
