Renee M. Doyle, age 76, passed peacefully on December 13, 2025. She was the devoted wife of James “Terry” Doyle for 52 years, who preceded her in death this past August.

Born to the late Joseph Weikel and Rose (née Baselice), Renee was a beloved mother to Michelle (William) Hagans, Shawn, Rosemarie, Michael, and Joseph (Alexis). She was a loving sister to Denise (Lee) D’Angelo and Joann Weikel, and was predeceased by her sister Arlene (George) Zumpf.

Renee was a cherished grandmother of William, James (“Charlie”), Sean, Michael (Katelyn), Thomas (Alyssa), Mikayla, Alia, Violette, and Troy, and a devoted great-grandmother to Faith, Gianna, Gemma, Jade, and Stella. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Renee dedicated her life to creating a warm, loving home for her family. Her generous spirit and welcoming nature made her home the heart of countless unforgettable gatherings—especially her beloved open-door tradition on New Year’s Day. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and helping to raise them.

In her later years, Renee courageously faced many health challenges. She is now at peace, reunited for eternity with the man she loved so dearly. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, December 20, 2025, between the hours of 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM at St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Streets, Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately.
