Richard J. Brigandi Sr.

Richard J. Brigandi, Sr., age 82, passed away on September 29, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Betty Ann (née Cuffari) for 52 years. Loving father of Rachel Brigandi, Linda (John) Ramos, and Richard Jr. Proud grandfather of Giana, Kayla, Giuliana, J’Lynn, Richard.

Richard was the beloved brother of Anna Iacobelli and was predeceased by his siblings Anthony Jr., Joseph, Frank, Francis, Rose Marie Cordero, and Francis Rosica. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Richard will be remembered for his quick wit, upbeat personality, and dedication to family. He worked for many years in the shipping department at Pincus Brothers and later as a parking attendant at Veterans Stadium, assisting fans during countless sporting events and concerts. Skilled in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing trades, Richard was always handy and eager to help others.

As a father, he loved taking his children fishing, crabbing, and camping at French Creek State Park, creating lifelong memories filled with laughter and love.

 Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects to the family between the hours of 10 and 11AM Saturday October 25, 2025 Epiphany of Our Lord Church 11th and Jackson St. (Lower Church) Funeral Mass will begin at 11AM. Interment will be Private.
