Rita (nee Vannicola) passed away on March 13, 2017, peacefully and surrounded by family in her home in South Philadelphia where she was a longtime resident. She was an exceptionally caring wife in a successful 37 year marriage to the late Rocco; she was an extraordinarily dedicated and loving mother to five children all of whom survive her: Diane DiMascio, Priscilla (James) Mueller, Lisa (Robert) Evans, Anthony DiMascio, and Rocco DiMascio; And honorary mother to David Randolf; grandmother of Erica, Zachary, Caroline, and Natalie; sister of the late Louis, Anna, and Rose; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on SATURDAY at 9:30 am Stella Maris Church, 10th and Bigler Sts. Interment to follow Mass at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
