Robert Petragnani "Bobby" Age 83 a beloved member of the South Philadelphia community, passed away on May 3, 2024, in Haverford, Pa. Born on September 12, 1940, in Philadelphia to Donato and Angelina (nee Barbuto), Bobby lived a life filled with love, unwavering faith and joy of living.
In his early years, Bobby attended High School at the Widener Memorial School on Olney Ave. and later went on to work for over 32 years with the City of Philadelphia Quarter Sessions Office as a Clerk. His commitment and passion made him a valued and respected member of the courts.
Bobby was a devout member of St. Monica Church and found solace and strength in his faith. He approached life with laughter and optimism, despite living with cerebral palsy for his entire life, and was known for his love of family gatherings and parties. His ability to forge deep and lasting friendships endeared him to many and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.
Bobby was a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
His viewing will be held Tuesday 8:30 - 10:30 Baldi Funeral Home 1331 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147 (Ample Off Street Parking Available) Funeral MASS will follow viewing 11AM St. Monica Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Robert's memory to St Monica Church, 17th and Ritner St. Phila., PA 19147.
