Rocco, a WWII Veteran, passed away on September 5, 2019 at age 94. He is the Beloved Husband of Phyllis (nee Varanelli); Loving Father of James (Michele), Michele (Joe) Sabatina, Rocco (Karen), and Mary Jo (Michael) Bartels; Dear Grandfather of Justin, Nikki, Gabrielle, Eric, Giovanna, Logan, Christian, Jessica, Nicolas, Matthew and Danielle; Brother of Anna Van Note, Anthony Pilla, Stella (Ron) Nighswander, and also pre-deceased by many loving brothers and sisters; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing and Funeral on TUESDAY Morning from 8:30 to 10:00am at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 11th and Jackson Sts. Funeral Mass to follow Viewing at 10:00am. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to The Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market St. – Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
