Rolando Ventus

Rolando Ventus, age 70, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Dewi and the beloved father of Allan (MaryBeth), Jorge (Stephanie), and the late Michelle Ventus. A loving brother to Rose Herrera and Peter Ventus, he was also a proud and cherished Papa to Matthew, Isabella, Katarina, Jorge Jr., and Brandon.

Born in the Philippines, Rolando immigrated to the United States as a young man in search of opportunity. He graduated from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia and later attended trade school to become a skilled mechanic—a profession he dedicated his life to with hard work and pride.

Rolando had a passion for motorcycles and found joy in the open road. In his later years, nothing made him happier than spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial gathering on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Pennsylvania Burial Company, Inc. / Baldi Funeral Home, 1327–29 S. Broad Street. (Ample off-street parking available.)

Rolando will be remembered for his devotion to family, his strong work ethic, and his kind heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty that will live on through all who knew him.
