Rosemarie Santore

"Rose Marie (or Rose) touched many lives as a mother, grandmother, daughter, wife, sister, cousin and friend. She appreciated the simple things, like baking, ice cream, listening to Frank Sinatra, crocheting, and sitting with her lady friends "at the corner" on a warm summer night. A talented seamstress, capable of making her own clothing, she embraced hard work both in and outside her home. Rose was always quick to help someone in need whether it be a long-time friend or a new neighbor. She was a gifted and entertaining storyteller who loved sharing stories of her South Philadelphia neighborhood's past with anyone interested to listen. She is predeceased by her husband, Rudy, and brother, James Ranieri. Rose leaves behind her loving son, Rudy Santore, daughter in-law, Regina Santore, her grandson, Ryder Santore, her brother, Louis Ranieri, sister in-law, Karen (Louis) Ranieri, and many cousins. Though her body has left us, her spirit and memory will continue to comfort and inspire."
