Sinh Thong

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sinh Thong, AKA “Bubba”, on August 30, 2024.  Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Born on July 27, 1980, in Hong Kong, in the Year of the Monkey, Bubba brought light and laughter to all who knew him.

A dedicated financial analyst by profession, Bubba was known for his sharp mind and reliability. Though private by nature, he was always there for those who needed him, dependable to the core. His friends and family cherished his loyal, fun, and feisty spirit—qualities that made him truly unforgettable.

A die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, Bubba could often be found cheering for his teams, shooting pool at The Garage, or immersed in a Marvel movie marathon. The last movie he saw in the theatre with his close friends and family was Deadpool & Wolverine.  An avid gamer, he enjoyed playing titles like Final Fantasy and had a passion for collecting and investing in limited-edition sneakers, a testament to his eye for detail and love for unique finds.

Bubba had a love for food and socializing, and he built strong connections with family and friends. He was known for his incredible memory, often referred to as his friends' "the library," always able to recall cherished moments and stories. A proud lover of tattoos; he spent over 27 hours getting intricate inkwork on his arms without shedding a tear, a testament to his toughness and determination.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories, always looking after his family, friends, and pets with the same care and dedication that defined his life. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, Bubba. You will forever live in our hearts.
