Tai Tung Chung was born on August 21st, 1952 and died on December 17, 2020, aged 68. He was the second eldest of 7 and spent his early life in Vietnam. In his early 20s, he made headway on his American dream by immigrating to the US, first landing in New Jersey. There, he became a US citizen and spent ten years working specializing in anodizing, before finally marrying his wife and giving birth to his son. Soon after, his daughter was born and him and his family moved to Philadelphia in 1991. Tai continued to be a hard working father and husband. He loved to snack on honeybuns and cinnamon rolls. He loved working on cars with his son and going on trips to McDonalds and Burger King. He was particularly interested in the concept of time, and collected watches and clocks. He also loved to talk about history and immensely enjoyed war movies. Tai was a kind, generous, and polite man who would always immediately offer a drink whenever guests visited him and his family. Tai retired 10 years before his death. He enjoyed his retirement very much and loved spending his time watching Netflix. He not only achieved his American dream but also helped create it for others, and that is his legacy. He lived a full life and is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
