Tania M. Holloway

Tania M. Holloway (nee Ledee) passed away on August 6, 2025 at age 63. She was a devoted preschool teacher who worked with special needs children, passionately helping each child discover their unique strengths and potential. Her patience and empathy left a lasting impact on countless young lives and families. A lifelong animal lover, Tania was known for taking in stray animals and giving them loving homes. Her kindness extended to all creatures — human and animal alike. She enjoyed being part of her neighborhood and community, always eager to stop for a conversation, lend a hand, or simply brighten someone’s day with her presence. She is the Loving Mother of Caroline (Peter) McPhillips and Robin Holloway, and Beloved Nonna of Luke and Rose. Her family will greet relatives and friends on THURSDAY August 14th from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Rita of Cascia Church, 1166 S. Broad St., Philadelphia. Funeral Mass begins at 10:00am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Autism Speaks or Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society at links below.
