Thanh Pham

Thanh Ngoc Pham, 84, of Philadelphia, was born in Nghe An, Vietnam, and passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she devoted her life to caring for her family.

Together with her husband, she raised eight children and built a home grounded in hard work, togetherness, and warm hospitality. She was known for her generous spirit and exceptional cooking, and she had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcomed and cared for—her heart always had room for more.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Khai Tran (2021). She is survived by her older sister, Pham Thi Guong, and her children: Anh-Tho (Vinh); Anh-Quoc Tran (Linh); Thuha Tran; Vinh Tran; Hong-Ngoc Hoang (Bill); Tuyet-Dung (Tho); Michael Tran (Kim); and John Tran (Jocelyn). She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Andie, Jason, Justin, Anthovin, Andre, Keane, Jacob, Colin, Aiden, Ashton, Vianna, Jalynn, Isabelle, Alyssa, Lillyana, and Adeline.

Services: Visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM at St. Irenaeus Church, 7200 Grovers Avenue. A Funeral Mass/Service will follow Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM at St. Irenaeus Church, 7200 Grovers Avenue, Philadelphia, PA (open casket from 8:00–9:00 AM). Interment will take place at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064.
