Thomas Munz Jr., a dedicated Philadelphia Police Officer who protected and served his community for the past 5 years, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2022. Beloved son of Mona Munz Shaeffer (Dave) and the late Thomas Munz Sr.; Loving brother of Ashley (Mike) D’Arcangelo and Joseph (Gabriella) Haggerty; Grandson of James (Barbara) Pizzo; Dear nephew of James Pizzo, Joseph (Suzanne) Pizzo, Alexis (Chris) Kaczmarski, Richard Munz and Terry (Steve) Pushkar and uncle of Riley, Joseph, Emma, and Matteo; Cousin of Vinamarie, Joseph Jr. (Anna), Gianna, Denine, Vanessa, Michael, Victoria, Joseph, Harper Quinn, and also survived by other loving cousins and his girlfriend Carly Griffith. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing WEDNESDAY evening 6:00 to 9:00pm and THURSDAY morning 8:30 to 10:00am at The PENNSYLVANIA BURIAL CO., INC., 1327-29 S. Broad St. Funeral Mass THURSDAY 11:00am St. Monica’s Church, 2422 S. 17th Street Phila., Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Rd., Springfield.
