Thu was a wonderful wife, a dedicated mother, a thoughtful daughter, a selfless sister, a loving aunt and a loyal friend. She had a charismatic personality that drew people to her. She was generous and thoughtful, supportive and kind. She cared with a passion unlike anything we have ever seen. We know she is looking down on us right now and we truly believe she knew how loved she was.
Thu appreciated the value of hard work. No one gave her anything she did not deserve- anything she attained, she worked for it in the best way she knew how. She worked hard at everything she puts her mind to and created magic. She touched so many lives with her generous and giving heart. As a School Counselor, she touched and guided the lives of the hundreds and hundreds of children who are fortunate enough to have been her students. She was a true advocate for equal opportunities and access to education for all underprivileged children. She was a force to be reckon with professionally and in her private life. She loved life and us, her family, so much. I know we have all heard this before but I hadn’t realized it until now, that Life is a lot shorter than any of us realize and you just don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
We miss you. We love you, Thu. You are and forever will be our Big Sis.
She’s in the sun, the wind, the rain,
she’s in the air you breathe
with every breath you take.
She sings a song of hope and cheer,
There’s no more pain, no more fear.
You’ll see her in the clouds above,
hear her whisper words of love.
You’ll be together before long.
Until then listen for her song.
