Peter J. Jacovini

Funeral Director/Supervisor
Born in South Philadelphia in 1971, Peter is the son of Peter and Connie (nee Bello), grandson of William and Norma, and great grandson of Pennsylvania Burial Co. founder Pietro Jacovini. Peter, a fourth generation Funeral Director, was baptized at St. Rita of Cascia Church and raised in Drexel Hill, PA,. Peter attended Upper Darby High School graduating in 1989. In 1993 Peter received his BBA Finance Degree from The George Washington University in Washington DC.
While there he was a Member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. From there Peter went on to Mercer County Community College and in 1998 he earned his Funeral Service Education Certificate. He become a Licensed Funeral Director in the State of PA in 1999 and a Licensed Supervisor in the State of PA.
Peter and his wife Lea (nee Strizzi) reside in Haddonfield NJ and have 4 beautiful children: Son Peter Zachary born 2002 and Triplet Daughters Lilah, Eva, and Alessia born 2005. Peter and his wife are members of
Help Women and Children Now, in Haddonfield NJ.

Victor L. Baldi, III

Funeral Director
Born in South Philadelphia on February 3, 1971 to Joan (nee DiLodovico) and Victor L. Baldi, Jr. Victor was raised in South Philadelphia and attended St. Mary's Parochial School. At the age of 13, he and his family moved to Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where he attended Cherry Hill East High School and graduated in 1989. Victor then went on to obtain an Associate’s degree in Business and Mortuary Science from Mercer County College. He served as Vice President of his graduating class of 1993.
Victor has since returned to South Philadelphia and lives there with his wife Linda and their two sons, Louis and Victor. They are proud parishioners of St. Monica Church and their children attend Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School in South Philadelphia. Victor is also a member of the Fathers and Sons Organization at St. Monica School, where his children attended elementary school.
Victor is a licensed funeral director in both the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. As a licensed funeral director in the state of New Jersey, he is a member of the New Jersey State Funeral Directions Association. In Pennsylvania, he is a member of the South Philadelphia Business Association, Past Treasurer of the South Philadelphia Broad Street Neighborhood Association, current President of the Order of the Sons of Italy, St. Mary Magdelen de Pazzi, Lodge #2787, current Pennsylvania State Trustee for the Order of Sons of Italy in American and a member of the Founding Hearts Foundation in Philadelphia (a charitable organization).
Victor enjoys spending time with his family, Sunday dinners and weekends at the New Jersey shore.

Michael Angelo Messina

Secretary/Treasurer
Mike has been a dedicated employee of our Funeral home for the past 3 generations. He graduated from Epiphany of Our Lord Parochial School in 1960, graduated Bishop Neumann High School in 1964 and attended Pierce Collage in 1971 and 1972, where he Attended accounting classes.
A US Army Veteran, Mike served for country from 1965 to 1967. He was Secretary to the Command Maintenance Management Inspectors (CMMI) Specialist 4th Class in the 5th Infantry Div., 5th Army stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado. He was also a Cost Accounting Analyst at GE Missile Defense Plant in Philadelphia.
Mike was employed by Pennsylvania Burial Co., Inc in March of 1971 and has been the Secretary-Treasurer since 1976. Mike also works part-time as an usher at the Academy Of Music since 1971 and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts since 2001 to the present.
Mike was the Secretary/Treasurer of the International Alliance of Stage and Theatrical Employees Local B-29 from 2005 to 2010.
Mike was married to his wife Tina for 46 years, Until her death in 2012. Mike has 5 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Peter J. Jacovini Sr.

Funeral Director
Born in South Philadelphia in 1937, baptized at St. Paul’s Church, raised in South Philadelphia and currently a resident of Voorhees and Avalon NJ. Son of William and Norma (nee Bauder) and grandson of the founder Pietro (Grace) Jacovini. 3rd generation Funeral Director married to Connie (nee Bello) with 3 children: William born in 1966, Christine born in 1968, and Peter born in 1971. Proud grandfather of Taylor, Ryan, Steven, and William Kirby, Peter Zachary, Savanna, Willow, Alessia, Eva, Lilah, and Peter C. Jacovini.

Victor L. Baldi, Jr.

Funeral Director
Born in South Philadelphia to Janice and Victor Sr. on January 1, 1943 . He is married to Joan (DiLodovico) . Victor has been a licensed funeral director since 1967 from which he carries his grandfather’s (Alfonso Baldi) legacy.
Graduate of Friends Select School in 1961 and attended Notre Dame Academy in which he successfully played basketball and baseball. Victor served in the Army Reserve during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the South Philadelphia’s Optimist Club and the Frank Palumbo Sons of Italy Lodge #2415.
Victor currently resides in Margate New Jersey and is a member of The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Community.  

Jennifer Close

Born in South Philadelphia in 1976, Jennifer is our grief counselor and Assistant Funeral Director. Jennifer attended the High School for The Creative and Performing Arts and graduated in 1994. In 2007, Jennifer, after studying extensively in Philosophy and Psychology, received her BA in Cultural Anthropology from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She has extensive dealings with the public in times of stress. Jennifer is married to Samuel Agigian and resides in Mullica Hill, NJ.
